Megs and I recently rummaged through a downtown treasure, the Ohio Bookstore. Your nose is instantly satisfied with the aroma of old books, and eyes stimulated with its quaint and cozy nature. With multiple levels, and thousands of books, you may very well get lost in it for hours.
I recently purchased this sweater from Camino Motor Co.; my friend, Frank Welling's shop that carries all things motorcycle, leather, denim, and bad ass. Whether you own a bike or not, you'll find an excuse to return to Camino again and again... for its variety of vintage, the beautiful space itself, or the cold, Miller High Life, Frank's ready to hand you as you walk in. I have a soft spot for Letterman's, and the innocence of this specific 1950's "lettergirl" sweater intrigued me. I quickly snagged it after I saw it posted on Instagram, before someone got to it first! (I've learned the heart-wrenching hard way that it's best not to wait). When styling it, it only made sense to go back to my school days with plaid, high-waisted shorts, lace-trimmed socks with my beloved Doc Marten's (both Mom's vintage), and a sheer button-up revealing a bit of my bralette to make the outfit a little more "grown-up."
