Wearing my mama's very 80s military jacket with a fitted tee, my Baldwin jeans and pumps. Simple, easy, & sexy yet casual with a little uniqueness thanks to Terry Flanigan (per usual) + a lipstick that coordinates with the shoes and a high pony for the fun of it.
My mom told me that back in the day, girls would buy old menswear jackets (so they'd be big/oversized) from thrift stores and they'd sew in quirky fabrics under the cuffs so when you rolled up your sleeves you'd see a funky, contrasting pattern. While this is a woman's jacket, it inspires me to do the following: 1) Thrift on the men's side for a change. 2) Find groovy fabric. 3) Learn to like sewing. Photography by: Tracy Doyle
