Clean lines and handmade, quality fabrics; that is exactly what you get with the designs of TextileHaus made by the beautiful (and sweetest!!) Anastasiya Yatsuk. Before I formally met Anastasiya, I met her jumpsuit first! It was hanging on a wall at one of my favorite, neighborhood boutiques in OTR, known as, Continuum. I tried it on and fell for it (as hard as one can for an article of clothing). I then met the designer personally at The City Flea (an event you must check out whenever you find yourself in Cincy for the summer). We chatted for a bit and then got acquainted on social media. It was through Instagram that Miss Yatsuk sent me a message asking if I'd like to model her clothing. Social media really is good for some things, isn't it? I was thrilled and overly flattered and of course said, "yes!" I knew it would be fun, but it turned out to be even more wonderful of an opportunity than I expected. I met seriously cool people for the very first time. A huge shout out to the photographer, Josh Anderson. He is so creative and isn't afraid to get a little "weird" with his art form. I cannot wait to work with him again in the future. As for hair and makeup, we can thank Shannon Yoho for our pretty, undone looks. She wasn't there to "cover" us, but simply do a bit of enhancing. Shannon, you are so approachable--which makes you a perfect fit for a profession that requires you to touch a stranger's face. I felt at ease sitting in your chair! Thank you, thank you, thank you Anastasiya for asking us to be a part of your first collection. You and everyone involved truly inspire me and you gave me a little pep in my step after our day together. Below are a few of my favorite pieces from TextileHaus. What I love about this collection is that every piece is so useful for any woman, no matter your style. These are your TextileHaus Essentials: A polished update to a traditional pant suit--one with stretch, structure, all without sacrificing style. This is a throw-on and walk-out-the-door piece--who doesn't love that? Its modesty doesn't take away from its cool factor. No matter your shape, this dress will lay just right on you. Anastasiya told me of her love for sexy, little camis from Victoria Secret. Being the talented designer she is, she decided to just make her own. And now we get to relish in her talents! My favorite colors are the Dusty Pink and Deep Blue. Get yours, here. The jumpsuit of your literal dreams! This micro-suede fabric feels like sweet heaven against your skin. The perfect balance of modesty with subtle sexiness in the back. Dress this piece up or down, you cannot go wrong. Oh, and did I mention it's got pockets? Yes. If only everything could be made with micro-suede. Sigh... Fortunately for us, Anastasiya knows what she's doing when working with this fabric. Another favorite of mine from the collection is the Kimono Dress. Such an easy piece to instantly amp up your look with no fuss, only comfort.
