Winter comes at a peculiar time for Cincinnati. You hope for a white Christmas, and as soon as the holiday is over, you're ready for Spring. Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. We got hit with major freezing temps this past week and a whole lot of snow, (as you can see, high fashion shoes are of no importance here because my booties were buried).
March is approaching and most people are over these circumstances. But hey, you live here, so don't just brace it, embrace it. As a California native, I can't tell you how lucky we are to enjoy the gift of seasons. I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by such beauty. God's an artist, and this white blanket He painted for us is quite the sight. Thanks for that, Big Guy.
In this post I'm wearing a Forever 21 blouse with a more than obvious lavender bra peeking through. I'm all about lingerie showing off a bit. You have to be careful in how you allow it to; in this case, a shirt buttoned all the way up with menswear style pants keeps it from being too sexy. A slicked back pony adds to the boyish look, and a thick, fur-collared trench (from Casablanca Vintage) to keep me warm.
Also, another thanks to my mom for her hand-me-down, vintage Bebe pants. (My mother is going to consistently get recognition on this blog).
