The first time I wore this outfit was on Valentine's Day. We had an odd winter, where some days were freezing, and others were 70 degrees and sunny (the Midwest likes to keep you on your toes). Valentine's Day just so happened to be a warm one, allowing me to repeat the exact same outfit months later.
I am extremely talented at getting ready in a jiff, if I do say so myself. You'd think that would make me on time for things... but noooo... I guess it is my ability to be so speedy that allows me to justify hitting the snooze button seven more times (why I torture myself every ten minutes for 70 minutes is beyond me), or I feel I can just prolong the act of getting ready altogether by doing just about anything else until the last second. Either way, I have a tendency to be fashionably late, so outfit-repeating allows me to at least look the part, though lacking in time management. I got this dress on sale for seven bucks! Since it shows so much leg, I paired it with knee-high boots, and threw my mom's vintage denim over top to make it more "every day." I didn't edit any of these photos—not one bit. Sometimes it's refreshing to see exactly how the camera and the eye behind it capture the image.
